What We Do

Promote
Hingham's harbor, waterfront and waterways, encouraging their use and protection as a place for recreation and conservation.

Activate
Waterfront parks, islands and waterways by organizing and supporting public programs, community events, activities, and access.

Collaborate
With local agencies, businesses, and the community at-large to create synergies for the benefit of our harbor, waterfront and waterways.

Support
Our parks and waterways through stewardship programs and fundraising to improve and maintain them for future generations.
Signature Public Programs

Touch A Boat
Our free, fun, family event is a great way to kick off the summer and connect people to their harbor. Hundreds of people enjoy food, games, boat rides, and the opportunity to learn more through hands-on activities.

Part of the South Shore Race series, the #HarborDash will be held on nearby Peddocks Island, offering a fun course with amazing views of Boston Harbor. Proceeds support our new scholarship and mission programs.
